Starting a new term is expensive
The start of new term brings with it the usual trip to the market. New shoes have to be bought to replace the ones that are too old or too small. Battered lunch boxes have to be retired and torn school bags have to be replaced. This might be simpler and more easily accomplished if it weren’t performed in the heat of the blazing sun dragging irritable kids around with you. That is one of the very few times I take my kids to the market. Obviously they’ll have to try things on before I buy them. That’s a major task in itself. Thank God there are only 3 terms in a year!
