IELTS results are in

I received the results of the IELTS test I took about 4 weeks ago yesterday. I was a little apprehensive, not because I didn’t think I would “pass” , I just didn’t want to find out that my English is worse than I think it is. I got 8.5 out of a maximum of 9.  Translation - my English is pretty good. That’s one hurdle out of the way. That means that I ‘m now free to take international exams or apply to foreign institutions for postgraduate studies for example if I want to. Extra qualifications always come in handy. The test cost about £100, which is double some people’s monthly salary here.
