Spend some time with your kids

Sometimes we fall into the trap of thinking that just because we’re at home that we’re spending time with our children. That’s not always true. A lot of the time we just plant them in front of the tv while we get on with something else.

The other day my kids convinced me to sit with them while they watched one of their favorite films. I noticed that they seemed to enjoy it more when I was there. It was as if they were sharing part of their lives with me that maybe  I hadn’t seen before. I actually had lots of fun because the film was hilarious. I will definitely do do it again.
