We’re getting an elliptical trainer
I had a discussion with “he who must be obeyed” this morning. I wanted to have a 45 minute walk after dropping off the kids at school in the morning. For reasons best known to his lordship, he refused. I was upset ‘cos I’d worked it all out in my head. I refused to let it ruin my day. I’ve been looking at myself very hard in the mirror lately and I don’t like all the lumps that I see. I was hoping to combine the walking with my weight training. The two always go better together.
I try not to argue too much when I ‘m faced with these situations. I find that the harder you press the more resistance you meet. I have now been instructed to find out how much a good elliptical trainer would cost. I’ve been gently angling to get one for some time especially for hubby to use. Unfortunately, shopping on the internet is not well developed here in Nigeria so I’ll have to do some legwork to do my research.
An elliptical trainer works the upper and lower body at the same time which is why I’d rather get one than a treadmill. A good treadmill also takes up more space than an elliptical trainer from what I’ve seen. If all goes according to plan, I’ll buy it by the end of the week. Here’s to a trimmer, healthier me. Now if only I could keep off those chocolate chip cookies!
